Rev. Judy Pilat was ordained by Unity Worldwide Ministries and received her Masters of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary in June 2015. In addition to serving Unity of Livonia and Unity Church of Overland Park as a ministerial student intern, Judy was the Director of Engagement & Alignment at Unity of Kalamazoo from 2007 until 2011, and also served as their Interim Operations Manager in 2011 while they conducted their search for a new minister. After graduation, Rev. Judy served as the Senior Minister at Unity of Madison in Madison Wisconsin from 2015 until 2018. In 2021, Rev. Judy and her partner Audrey Randall moved back to Kalamazoo – the place they always thought of as home even though both were born and raised elsewhere.  When Reverend Joslyn Mason left in November 2021, Rev. Judy was our guest speaker twice a month until she became our Senior Minister in April of 2023.  She retired from full time ministry on June 30, 2025.

Prior to becoming a minister, Rev. Judy was a career coach and workshop facilitator with a passion for helping individuals to identify their gifts and abilities, and to utilize them in ways that delight and reward.
