Dear congregants, and friends:
In the spring as I was looking for a permanent condo, I just
kept seeing that regardless of the bargain or how desirable it was, it wasn't
what I wanted. when I finally asked myself "what do I want?" the reply was
"to live near my daughter and her family" "what's keeping you from doing
that?" "I need a job?" "What do you need a job for?"
"Because in spite of the fact that I will begin to collect
Social Security in January, it isn't sufficient income to meet my comfort
level." "So why don't you do what you tell others to do all the time?
Follow the call of Spirit, plan as well as you can, and know that Spirit will
provide!" It began to feel inauthentic not to act on my heart
felt desire to be near my family. So this is the result.
On Sunday, July 18th I announced my resignation
from Unity of Kalamazoo, effective March 31, 2011. To the right is the
letter received by the board of
Trustees Wednesday July 14, 2010 as my formal notice. Please read it
as it contains our next important steps.
I have grown to love you all so very much, and there is much
sadness in my heart at leaving you and not seeing you regularly. But
I know your love and thoughts and prayers and good
wishes are with me and the church!
